Do you want to learn to play the guitar in a fun and easy way?
Wouldn't you like to be able to strum along to a song your friends are singing? ....or play in a band?
Whatever your dream or desire, I can help you get there.
My name is Roger Berger, and I've reviewed and rated many of the Internet's "Learn to Play Guitar" sites. As a professional guitar player myself (25+ years now), I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly; but only the very best guitar courses are listed at musicnut.com. But it's really up to you to decide if you like what you see.
I created this site with the beginning guitar player in mind.
Having said that, and assuming you've been looking for the right online guitar learning course site which will allow you to easily teach yourself to play, look no further. I've already done all the hard work for you. I've searched long and hard to find sites that meet all or most of the following strict criteria.
For a course to qualify to be on this site, especially in the absence of a private guitar teacher, it had to include all or most of the following components :
Easy-to-read guitar music (guitar tablature or tab)
Audio samples to reinforce the written material
Guitar tuner either downloadable to your computer or online based
Metronome either downloadable to your computer or online based
Images showing frets and fingering for chords, scales, etc.
Teach common guitar chords with graphs, photos, or images
Provide ongoing training or support beyond the realm of the course
Someone to monitor your progress
Tips, tricks, and techniques for honing your guitar playing skills
Helpful tidbits for learning and motivation (this is a big one!)
Downloadable or password protected website access to the course
Special Side Note:
Based on the above criteria, I found just a handful of guitar learning sites that had most of the components listed.
I found just one site that included all components.
This is the site I'm going to reveal to you in just a moment.
Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying finding a good online guitar course replaces the need for a private guitar tutor. Hopefully, you can find a quality teacher at some point to monitor your progress and answer questions you couldn't otherwise get answered.
